EFC Taiwan Initiatives overview

The EFC Taiwan Initiatives is a collaborative ministry effort in Taiwan with the Evangelical Free Churches of China (Hong Kong), Malaysia, Singapore, Canada, the U.S., local Taiwanese church and mission organizations and possibly other Asia EFC networks.

Our vision: Taiwan to become a mobilizer for global mission.

Our mission: To glorify God by planting disciplemaking churches that mobilize Taiwanese workers for Taiwan and beyond.

Position overview

This position will, in collaboration with the Taiwanese churches, lead/participate in hands-on church planting using a missional church planting model based on multiplying small group churches who focus on worship, disciplemaking and mission. He or she will be part of a Missional Church Planting Initiative Team.

Qualifications

• Heart for the lost that leads to regularly sharing your faith with others
• Strong disciplemaking experience
• Passion for living a life of worship
• Experience leading and participating in missional small group
• Flexible; not tied to traditional church model
• Kingdom mindset, humble learner and strong team player

Responsibilities

• Learn language and culture
• Planting and leading a missional church by:
• Facilitating missional church gatherings throughout the week over meals, with worship, testimony, time in the Word, disciplemaking and evangelism/mission involvement
• Engaging individually in daily evangelism and regular evangelism/mission outreach as a missional church
• Discipling others in your missional church who will disciple others
• Training and equipping leaders of the next and the next and the next missional church
