EFC Taiwan Initiatives overview

The EFC Taiwan Initiatives is a collaborative ministry effort in Taiwan with the Evangelical Free Churches of China (Hong Kong), Malaysia, Singapore, Canada, the U.S., local Taiwanese church and mission organizations, and possibly other Asia EFC networks.

Our vision: Taiwan to become a mobilizer for global mission.

Our mission: To glorify God by planting disciplemaking churches that mobilize Taiwanese workers for Taiwan and beyond.

Position overview

This position will multiply disciplemakers and disciples of Taiwanese believers who are or are becoming significant leaders in the Taiwanese Church. Disciplemakers are needed on all of the Ministry Initiative Teams.

Qualifications

• Strong disciplemaker; have history of making and reproducing disciples prior to coming to Taiwan
• Able to learn how to effectively make disciples in Taiwan
• Kingdom mindset: humble learner and strong team player

Responsibilities

• Learn language and culture
• Have multiple disciplemaking relationships in the context of a missional church and/or a traditional church working toward multiple generations of disciplemakers
• Work with other disciplemakers in modeling and equipping the Taiwanese church in doing life on life disciplemaking
