Our Context

Our city team lives and ministers in a densely populated city in Northeastern Asia which serves as its regional leader in economic, military, educational and industrial activity. The host nation in which we serve is a closed access country with a rich and long history, including strong missionary activity over the past two centuries. However, government control and persecution of the church, rampant idolatry of education and wealth, and an aging population have all led to the decrease of Christianity in this nation in recent years.

Our City Team

Our team's vision is to see a new kind of church planted that welcomes students and young families without burdening them, evangelizes without fear of persecution, and partners with other churches and believers without seeking dominance or control. As a member of our city team, you will have the opportunity to learn vital ministry skills from experienced missionaries and contribute to our team's church planting vision.

Medical Clinic Administration

Due to the closed access nature of our context, you will obtain a work visa via a position at an international medical clinic run by local believers. Depending on your ministry goals, this position can be part-time or full-time. At the clinic you will have the opportunity to serve in an administrative role, train and disciple local colleagues, and have opportunities to minister to vulnerable populations.

Long-Term Role

Our team desires all long-term staff to focus their initial time on the field in full-time language learning. Due to the closed-access nature of our context, this will require most long-term staff to obtain a student visa and enroll in a non-degree language learning program at a local university for the first two years of their term. After initial language learning goals have been met, long-term staff may transition to their full-time ministry role.
