Church Planter Apprentice
We are seeking a missionary candidate to assist in church ministry in a suburban area of Sendai, Japan. The individual will serve alongside other missionaries in worship, discipleship and outreach ministries within the congregation and surrounding community.
A primary focus of this role is relationship-based evangelism among the Japanese. In Japan, meaningful spiritual conversations typically develop through trust built over time; therefore, patience and consistency are essential in cultivating relationships that may eventually open doors for gospel witness. English-language outreach will also serve as a bridge for forming community connections and sharing Christ.
The candidate is expected to pursue Japanese language and cultural study in order to support effective and long-term ministry.
This opportunity is well suited for someone called to cross-cultural service who desires practical church ministry experience and active participation in evangelism in Japan.
