The new field in Taiwan is looking for people that have a desire to serve in cross-culture ministry. In Taiwan we are working with local churches to strengthen their ministries and reach out into their communities. A variety of people with different giftings are needed to support these. Those who serve in this field will be responsible for:
- Build relationships with those in their communities, believers and non-believers
- Learn about Taiwanese culture, history and people
- Collaborate and serve with a local Taiwanese church or be a part of a church planting team
- Contribute towards the vision of the Taiwan initiative goals
Special Requirements
- Raise your own support.
- Relocation to Taiwan and serve in the field is required
- Find churches and individuals to support you financially (Raise your support)
- Conversational or fluent in English language
- Willingness to learn the Mandarin language, if not a current skill
- Formal theological training is not needed, but there are opportunities when this would be benefical
- Leadership experience desired, but also can be developed. This is a high value for this field.
